Design & Archives

Vanilla Arucan is a graphic designer, researcher, and archivist based in Manila. She centers her practice within the branding, editorial, and research space.

The blend of her creative background and formal studies in Arts Management and Archives Studies lends a unique approach to her design thinking, aiming to result in work that is a meaningful meeting of play, research, and function.

On her days off, you can find her writing postcards to a community of mail lovers, running, reading, or continuing research for her poster project Color Story and archival efforts for Women In Philippine Postage Stamps.

She is open for engagements with a focus on branding and editorial design, as well as archival research and writing with an interest in the arts and cultural sectors but also open to otherwise.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Archives and Records Management from University of the Philippines Diliman.
